A Weekend Trip to the Swimmin' Hole

True, I've been in Houston for only about three weeks, but the lady and I are already anxious to get out. Not that we're spent by what the "Space City" (because NASA is here – "Houston, we have a problem" – get it?) has to offer; we just feel it's time to venture out. First we were thinking Galveston, the closest beach to us. But a former Californian who lives in our apt complex said we'd be disappointed. Then my sister sent an email with a link to "America's Best Swimming Holes." Tomorrow we're headed to the last one on the list: The Blue Hole in Wimberley, Texas. Three hours from Houston.
