Christian Wach

I've had the pleasure of working with and documenting some of Christian Wach's surfing exploits for the past 3 years. He's hyper-talented in most everything he does (surfing, painting, music, writing), very level-headed and friendly with anyone he crosses paths with. Those are three rare traits to find in the surf industry. Oversized egos tend to outweigh humility rather frequently. Conducted a bi-coastal interview with Mr. CWach a few nights ago for the next issue of morSURF. Should be out late August/early September. Stay tuned.

Also, a little plug for one of Christian's many projects, Canvas Surfboards. Though he won't be shaping, he'll be putting his artistic talents to use in bedazzling the fine surf creations. But he won't be alone, Canvas intends to be a collaboration of artists, which means a vast array of fine looking boards. All the shaping will be done by Ryan Engle of EngleNation/Nation Surfboards/Nation MFG (not certain which he's going with).
